Dr. Jimmy Chung practiced general and vascular surgery for 13 years before moving to a managerial position at Providence Health & Services. The move gives him valuable insight into how physicians can be more effective in a changing healthcare environment. Challenges still abound in the area of Physician Advisor medicine. Dr. Tibian Abramovitz describes the issues he has to address in his role as a physician advisor at the Mount Sinai Health System.

Join the National Association of Physician Advisors (NAPA) in San Diego for the 2nd Annual West Coast Physician Advisor and Case Management Summit as it brings together hospitals from all over the west coast to share strategies on how to integrate the Physician Advisor into their health system, overcome challenging rules and regulations as well as how to successfully avoid claim denials using education and clinical documentation.
